Pharmacodynamics: Cefquinime is a fourth-generation Cephalosporin Antibiotic specifically for animals. It achieves the bactericidal effect by inhibiting the synthesis of the cell's wall, has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity and is stable to β-Lactamase.
Pharmacokinetics: For pigs, 2mg of cefquinime is intramuscularly injected per 1kg of body weight. The blood-drug concentration reaches its peak 0.4 hours later, with a peak concentration of 5.93μg/ml.
Intramuscular Injection: The dosage is 0.08-0.12ml per 1kg of body weight for pigs. Use once a day for 3-5 consecutive days. Period of Discontinuing against Drug: 72 Hours.
No adverse reactions observed when used as prescribed. Animals allergic to β-Lactam Antibiotics are contraindicated. Shake well before use.
