Composition:
Each ml contains: Lincomycin 100mg; Solvents ad 1 ml.
Indication:
An antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections, especially those caused by Gram-positive and anaerobic bacteria. Commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, skin/soft tissue infections, and bone/joint infections. Effective against septicemia, endocarditis, and infections in cattle, swine, and poultry.
Dosage and Administration:
- Intramuscular administration.
- Swine and sheep: 0.1ml per kg body weight.
- Horse and cattle: 0.05ml per kg body weight.
- Once a day for 3-5 consecutive days.
- Breast perfusion: Cow (15ml), Milch goat (10ml).
- Postpartum care of sow: 10ml injecting 7 hours after birth to prevent infection.
Precautions:
- No use for animals with known hypersensitivity to lincomycin/clindamycin.
- Use with caution in pregnant or lactating animals.
- Use cautiously in animals with impaired renal or liver function.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from light and children.
Withdrawal Period:
- Meat (Calves, goats, sheep, swine): 14 days.
- Meat (Poultry and turkeys): 7 days.
- Milk: 3 days.
