Phenylbutazone 200mg
Dexamethasone (as sodium phosphate) 0.38 mg
Excipient: Q.S.P. 100 ml
Mechanism of Action:
Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid providing powerful immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory actions. It inhibits lytic enzymes released during stress and inflammation, decreasing macrophage phagocytosis.
Phenylbutazone (NSAID) inhibits prostaglandins to block pain, fever, and inflammation. It reduces vascular permeability in early-stage inflammation to prevent edema and diapedesis. The combination provides superior pain relief and anti-inflammatory synergy.
Indications:
Anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and analgesic. Used for musculoskeletal inflammations like arthritis, osteoarthritis, laminitis, and tendonitis in horses.
